Our blue little baby whose heart stopped beating after coming out...after a few seconds she started to breath. Praise God!
Levi and our midwife Heike
She is here!! Our beautiful princess arrived on Feb. 9th 2010 at 7:30am after 2 1/2 hours of labor. She was born at home via a water birth. She weighed in at 11lbs 4oz. and was 22 1/2 inches long. We were attended by a fabulous team of two midwives, a student midwife, and our Doula, Wendy Dean. All went smoothly with the only scary moment being the first few seconds after Jubilee came out her heart stopped beating. After some very fast action by our midwife she was was fluttering her eyes and pinking up! She is an absolute dream and we can not stop kissing her! She is going to be greatly adored in the Wilson House!
We found out at the beginning of June that we are expecting our third child and we are thrilled!!! I went out early in the morning after I found out and purchased two balloons for the kids to surprise Poppy...it was so fun! Our new baby is due beginning of February. Congratulations Poppy!
This year we did a combined birthday party for the kids and it worked out great! We had many dear friends celebrate with us as Caitlyn turned 5 on March 24th and Levi turns 2 on April 6th.
Well the cabinets are painted and my vintage jars are up! I forgot to take a before shot with the cabinet doors on...but you get the idea...BROWN! Phil really worked his tail off helping me get the kitchen redone. We took all the cabinet doors off and painted them plus inside the cabinets themselves. We took three full days painting into the late night to get them done. Phil then crafted a beautiful shelf unit for me to display my vintage canning jars. I had seen one on E-bay that I really liked but would have had to shell out over $50 for it. Phil made a even more lovely one for about $15! I then found a "newer" dishwasher for cheap to add to the update. Phil finished it off with some beautiful baseboards to complete the look. We are very pleased to be done and keep asking, "Now, why didn't we do this earlier??" We recently got a new sliding door so those pictures are included too.
Aren't these pretty? Notice the 70's contact paper...Levi is enjoying these cabinets being empty!
A very uncomfortable position!
Everything was so much easier once the priming was done.
Caitlyn getting in on the action...
Old slider removal
The work was done by Evan's Glass and they did a fantastic job!! Highly recommended.
